Becoming more active advocates for reform of our criminal justice system was an outgrowth of our “Called to Hear” study. Valuable information has been gained through our networking with Faith Action Network (an interfaith advocacy organization), the Tacoma Community Partnership for Transition Services (local agencies and individuals working together to support successful transitions for people returning to our communities after incarceration), and Civil Survival Project (people directly impacted by incarceration as formerly incarcerated individuals or family members of past/current incarcerated people).
Information is made available on current state legislation through e-announcements and Facebook.
